Minister for parks should know truth

I WOULD really like to know if, when the minister for parks, Sally Keeble, was awarded a green flag for Chalkwell Park to Southend Council, she was aware of what they are proposing for Priory Park and of the hundred odd trees they are insisting must come down?

It's rather ironic if she did, that she waffled on about 'the importance of having high quality accessible paths and green spaces in areas cannot be underestimated.'

If she is not aware of the danger to the park, should she not be informed?

PS: I am in total agreement with Mrs L O'Connor on vandalism by the council on Belton Hills. What a time of year to carry out this type of work!
